Joyful Garden is dedicated to providing short-term residential care services—up to six months—for young children with urgent accommodation needs, aiming to safeguard their health and well-being.
The main objectives of the Residential Child Care Centre are as follows:
To promote the holistic growth and potential development of children, nurturing their sense of responsibility, self-esteem, and self-care abilities.
To offer support services to the families/caregivers of children before family reunification or the arrangement of other long-term welfare and care plans.
Target Service Users:
Infants and children under the age of 6 who require urgent residential care, referred by their case social worker, and assessed by both a physician and Joyful Garden’s professional team as suitable for care at the centre.
Service Content:
24-hour living care, free accommodation, and meal services
Formulation and follow-up of child welfare plans
Arrangement of social, educational, recreational activities, or training according to developmental needs
