Early identification – to identify children who are at risk of persistent delays, language disorders, and difficulty with reading and writing language. Early identification allows early intervention, which helps to prevent further learning difficulties
Enhance communication ability – to improve speech, language and communication skills through early intervention, and to enhance individual’s ability to express thoughts and communicate with others
Build self-confidence – to relieve emotional distress due to speech and language impairment, and to build confidence in communicating with others
Enhance social skills – to enhance children’s communications and social skills in order to promote their interpersonal relationship with peers
